Howdy! My name is William Adcox. I'm a computer engineering major from Houston Texas, but more importantly, I am the LOUDEST and PROUDEST member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2027!
I'm currently in the Fall of my Junior year, and am avidly learning and developing in pursuit of building something truly original yet impactful. In this pursuit, I aim to grasp the skills necessary for an internship and eventual career in Electrical Engineering and power or PCB design.
Consequently, although I'm concurrently taking 18 credit hours, I will be utilizing whatever spare time I find to tackle personal projects, attain quantifiable results, and solve real-world issues. Additionally, I will be integrating these solutions with a secondary focus on elegance, aesthetics, and user experience.
A macropad I've created to assist in writing nonconventional keyboard characters for lab reports, research papers, and other projects. Includes media controls for all one's Spotify needs.
A self-contained tablet setup with integrated controllers, power supply, and a touchscreen for portable retro video game emulation. Capable of smoothly running most games from 1977 to 2004.
A designed schematic, simulation, and physical implementation via breadboarding that activates an alarm when an IR beam is interrupted. Includes a latching system that keeps the alarm in an active state until manually reset for a more accurate representation of response to an actual break in.
Whether you've got an idea to build, want to share thoughts on design and code, or just want to reach out, here's where you can reach me:
Here's a list of some of my ongoing projects/reach goals:
- Create and establish a strong LinkedIn profile
- Prepare for interviews by LeetCoding for 1-2 hours daily
- Write an album
- Self-teach EE/Power Systems
- Create another custom PCB project
